How do we secure our date?

A 20% booking fee and signed agreement secures your date. The remaining balance is due four weeks before your wedding.

How far in advance should we book?

Many couples book 12–18 months in advance, particularly for popular dates, but it’s always worth checking. I take on a limited number of weddings each year to give every couple my full attention.

Do you work across Scotland?

Yes — I’m based in Ayrshire and photograph weddings across Scotland. Whether you’re planning something close to home or further afield, just let me know your venue when you enquire. *TRAVEL EXPENSES MAY BE APPLICABLE*

Will you help guide us if we’re unsure about photos?

Absolutely. Most couples tell me they’re not comfortable in front of the camera, and that’s completely fine. I’ll offer gentle guidance when needed, but nothing will feel forced or staged — the focus is on keeping things relaxed and natural.

Question 5

Do we need to decide everything in advance?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. We’ll talk through the outline of your day beforehand, but there’s no need to have every detail fixed.

What if our timings change on the day?

Relax,  I work around the natural flow of the day and adapt as things unfold, so there’s no pressure to rush or keep checking the time.

Question 7

Is there travel expenses?

Each package includes the first 30 miles for a round trip, however anything beyond that  amount is calculated at 45p per mile (AS PER GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES).
Should travel to & from the venue within one day be unviable, accommodation costs will be added.
